Project Description:

On-going research in conjunction with an archaeological field school, Sangro Valley Project (www.sangro.org), in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Excavations and research focus on land-use and material culture of pre-Roman, Roman, and early Medieval periods. This is a multidisciplinary project accommodating many fields of study that assess and interrogate the material remains of human culture.
