Project Description:

The research projects focus on the interplay of the innate and adaptive immune system, and the role of T cell activation and differentiation in animal models of inflammatory/autoimmune arthritis, and septic shock induced by Superantigens.



Opportunity Type:

Volunteer; This is a paid research position; Prepare a UROP proposal


Student Role:

Students will directly assist or perform lab procedures such as injections, PCR, ELISA, and other various techniques necessary to complete the specified project.


Student Benefits:

students will directly take part in all aspects of the project, and will have the ability to work closely with Dr. Mu and learn essential lab techniques. Potential for pay


Project Duration:

It is expected that students will be able commit at least 12-15 hours a week


Minimum Requirements:

2 year commitment , 12-15 hours a week, an interest in medical research
