Project Description:

I have clinical and basic science interests in pediatric otolaryngology conditions. The student will have the opportunity to complete a research project. Prior projects completed have included a retrospective review of button battery ingestions and validation of a mouse model cytomegalovirus induced hearing loss.

Opportunity Type:

Volunteer; Earn independent study credit; Write Honor's thesis; Prepare UROP proposal

Student Role:

I typically meet with the student to determine his or her interests. I can provide a list of research projects. The student would be expected to "own" that project.

Student Benefits:

Presentation at local or national meeting and possible publication.

Project Duration:

6-12 months. Hours dependent on student's efficiency and motivation.
