Project Description:

Part-time Lab Aide position in Dr. Hong Mu’s Immunology research lab in the Rheumatology Division of the School of Medicine. This lab focuses on the study of Rheumatoid Arthritis in mouse models after the introduction of Mycoplasma Arthritis Mitogen (MAM).

Opportunity Type:

Volunteer; This is a paid research position; Prepare a UROP proposal

Student Role:

The Student will have the opportunity to learn and utilize various important lab techniques on a daily basis, and collaborate with Dr. Hong Mu on future experiments

Project Duration:

prospective students must be able to commit to at least 15 hours a week. This position requires a minimum of 2 year commitment. Paid position after 2-3 month trial period.

Minimum Requirements:

must be interested in the medical field, preferably a Biology major or other science major. Taken biology , general chemistry, preferably immunology and other Bio (cell, etc)
