Project Description:

We have many projects related to this topic, but we are taking multiple approaches to understand the unique metabolic features of cancer and stem cells. This will hopefully enable us to selectively target and kill cancer cells.

Student Role:

An undergraduate student could make important contributions to this project and the specifics would be according to the skills and preferences of the student.

The student would learn a number of techniques and be better prepared for a future career in medicine or research.

Project Duration:

The project is of indefinite duration and the expectation would be a minimum of 10 hours per week.

Minimum Requirements:

Biology and chemistry coursework is recommended.
