Project Description:

Two on-going projects funded by AHA and ADA are focus on exploring the receptor-mediated, Ang II-dependent and Ang II-independent effect of prorenin in the development of cardiac and renal fibrosis by using inducible transgenic rats.

Opportunity Type:

Student Role:

We are looking for students who are interested in medicine and medical research to take care of transgenic rats including breeding, gene typing, scanning the rat quality.

Student Benefits:

We will pay for student's work hourly.

Project Duration:

I prefer the students to work in our lab for one to three years.

Minimum Requirements:

Students have taken the biology, chemistry, biochemistry or physiology classes. It will be even better if the students have some lab experience.
