Project Description:

This project will track the history and contemporary experience of old age by creating a digital archive of documents, photos, advertisements, and other sources pertaining to old age in America.

Opportunity Type:

Volunteer; Earn independent study credit; Prepare a UROP proposal; Write an Honors Thesis

Student Role:

Students will serve researchers or help build the website.

Guided advanced research skills; find materials that could lead to research projects or theses; hands on digital technology experience.

Project Duration:

Ongoing project. Students will work anywhere from 5 to 10 hours a week.

Minimum Requirements:

Some research experience or website construction experience helpful.
