Project description

The goal of the project is to perform statistical analysis of climate model data, to compare the data against independent climate observations, and to answer specific research questions using the model data.

Student Role: The student is expected to work largely independent in the analysis of the data.
Student Benefits: Gain quantitative skills in the analysis of large data sets, using a programming language like IDL or MATLab. Also, statistical methods will be learned during the project.
Project Duration: weeks to years, depend on the specific of the work
