Mentoring Philosophy:

I believe that mentoring is a fundamental aspect of academia and is essential for the continuation of high-quality research. Mentoring is a symbiotic relationship in which both mentor and mentee benefit in their respective ways: Mentors develop skills in planning, delegation, and instruction while mentees learn new skills and responsibility. It's also important to consider mentoring a fluid and dynamic process that adapts to different individuals and situations. Lastly, mutual respect, clear communication and clear expectations are paramount for a successful mentor/mentee relationship.
