Study Coordinator:

Our research group, led by Dr. Yelena Wu at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, is seeking a Study Coordinator (SC) to join our energetic team. The SC will be responsible for coordinating technical and administrative details involved in a clinical or research study. They will be expected to work with a collaborative research team while coordinating multiple behavioral research studies, including randomized controlled trials. Our current trials funded by the National Institutes of Health and American Cancer Society are focused on skin cancer prevention among children and families as well as facilitating COVID-19 vaccination in school settings. Studies related to this position involve remote enrollment procedures, telehealth behavioral interventions, and technology-based adaptive interventions. The SC will facilitate partnerships with other departments at the university and other sites affiliated with the Huntsman Cancer Institute. They will also assist in protocol development, grant writing, and data organization/analysis. The SC will utilize advanced communication skills to coordinate with large cohorts of research participants.
