Zebrafish spinal cord injury recovery is facilitated by a Wnt signaling pathway. Wnt has shown to express many genes, but notum1a and notum1b arise as genes of interest for zebrafish spinal cord injury recovery. I want to verify that notum1b is expressed via Wnt signaling and explain how notum1a and notum1b operate during spinal cord injury recovery. In Situ staining of injured larval zebrafish is used to find the location of gene expression and verify its utilization via Wnt.
