This poster summarizes results of a literature review examining the efficacy of using animatronic and robotic animals in treatment sessions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Research findings are promising and indicate interventions combining electronics, animals, and toys hold potential for innovative recreational therapy (RT) treatment.
