Human brain organoids are an exciting way to study the human brain. Human brain organoids are particularly fascinating because they have been found to feature spontaneous spiking activity and oscillatory waveforms as seen in a mature human brain. However, there still is not a clear understanding of how the electrophysiological activity of brain organoids’ change over time. This study aims to better characterize how the electrophysiological activity of human brain organoids develops over time.
