Artist’s Statement:
I chose to do a piano piece for my art project because I wanted to do something different and wanted to create an emotional musical piece. I chose homelessness because when I was growing up I was homeless often. This musical piece is very important to me because it reminds me of when I was homeless. This piece is about the experience and how it is hard. But there is always light at the end of the tunnel. The piece is a little darker, but is very important for people to know about homelessness and people of homeless experience.
The project was very fun to do and so was the research part of it and making sure that everything is in order. I did whatever I could to make sure that the project was due on time make sure it is good material.
