<< Return to the Virtual URS Main Page

Faculty mentor: Ann Engar

This project investigates the Supreme Court case of Miranda v. Arizona in which a man’s confession to rape and kidnapping was questioned under the Fifth Amendment’s self-incrimination clause. We researched what society was like at the time of the case, proceeding cases, the case itself, succeeding cases, and the result of the case on society.
