Due to COVID-19, we have been socially distant and isolated for a year. This has caused detrimental effects on the mental health of our country such as increased anxiety, depression, and PTSD rates, as well as increased substance abuse. While the older generation is being hit especially hard with the negative physical effects of COVID, the younger generations are experiencing the worst mental health effects COVID-19 has to offer.
