OUR student posters on display in the Marriott Library

Stop by the first floor of the Marriott Library to see University of Utah students’ research posters. ¬†Down the hall north of the cafe.IMG_5249

Students who presented and the 2016 Undergraduate Research Symposium donated their research posters for display.  This is a great way to see what a research poster looks like and to get more familiar with the research here on campus!

Congratulations Summer 2016 UROP Awardees

Congratulations to the Summer 2016 UROP awardees!  Students from various disciplines around the University of Utah campus wrote fantastic research proposals to compete for our funded research program.  These students are all engaged in some amazing work around campus.  We are extremely proud to be able to work with such impressive students and mentors.

OUR student Georgie Corkery in the news!

University of Utah and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program student Georgie Corkery has been working with iUtah to produce a more efficient way to grow vegetables.  iUtah is an NSF funded research group with 18 students at various Utah institutions who work together with various faculty to conduct research projects.  This interdisciplinary group is really impressive!
